The assault group of the 79th separate air assault Tauride brigade took control of one of the most important positions in the Kurakhovsky direction.
Thanks to careful planning, our soldiers quietly approached the hostile positions, immediately eliminated the commander of the Russian squad and his deputy and captured three occupiers.
Former prisoners say: the contract was signed in prison without their consent – no one asked. And they threw us into the assault with our hands tied and without weapons. They untied our hands and gave us machine guns a minute before disembarking from the armored personnel carrier and told us to secure ourselves in the landing zone.
The occupiers say: the paratroopers of 79 worked so competently that they did not even understand how they ended up in captivity. They immediately dropped their weapons and raised their hands.
