On November 18, President Vladimir Zelensky signed draft law No. 11225 on the improvement of procedures for conducting medical and social evaluations. It is stated on the bill card.
The purpose of the document is to carry out targeted changes in certain procedures for passing a medical and social examination in particular, it is proposed to exclude the obligation of a person to undergo a medical examination at the MSEC, and to provide for people; right to determine the manner of his participation in the MSEC meeting (in person or online).
As stated in the explanatory note, the proposed changes will “open up” the possibilities of digitizing the patient route (both civilian and military), will remove financial, time and physical burden from patients who must spend health, money and time on the road (to get to the MSEC meeting place and return home or to the location of the military unit), waiting in lines.
On October 29, the Verkhovna Rada approved a bill to improve the work of medical and social expert commissions.
Earlier, the Office of the President discussed a new bill aimed at simplifying the procedure and removing bureaucracy from the MSEC system.
We remind you that after several high-profile corruption scandals in Ukraine, they decided to liquidate MSEC. President Vladimir Zelensky signed a corresponding decree.
It is planned that the functions of MSEC will be carried out by the respective hospitals. A bill to abolish the MSEC was submitted to the Rada.
