Konstantin Tsubera, a security guard for MP Nikolai Tishchenko, who along with him is suspected of attacking a military man in the Dnieper, entered into an agreement with the investigation and undertook to testify.
This was reported by the publication “Obshchestvennoe” with reference to the court verdict dated November 13.
It is noted that according to this document:
- Tsubera pleaded guilty to unlawful deprivation of liberty of a person committed by prior conspiracy (Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code) and torture (Part 2 of Article 127);
- on November 7, he entered into a plea agreement and pledged to cooperate with the investigation and give incriminating evidence against other people involved in the criminal offense, in particular against MP Nikolai Tishchenko;
- Tsuberi was sentenced to five years in prison, but since he entered into a plea agreement, the court released him from serving his sentence, replacing it with a probationary period of two years.
This means that he was released from punishment only on the condition that he would not commit a new criminal offense within two years, the publication notes.
Tsubera was also obliged to:
- periodically appear for registration with the supervisory authority;
- report a change in place of residence, work or study;
- do not leave Ukraine without approval.
Therefore, he was released from the pre-trial detention center, having recovered the costs of conducting forensic examinations in the amount of 6,058 hryvnia in favor of the state, the publication noted.
