President Vladimir Zelensky considers the mobilization in Ukraine insufficient. At the same time, he considers it wrong to give an exact figure about how many people need to be mobilized. He said this in an interview with Ukrainian Radio, published on Saturday, November 16.
“To say an exact number is just wrong from the point of view of this information, I was surprised by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council that I did not know that he disseminated this information,” said Zelensky.
According to the president, he does not agree with the numbers because it is impossible to discuss the exact number, because there are work issues.
“If there are not enough people at the front, this is the answer whether hundreds of thousands of people are mobilized or not, after all, the most important thing “People want everything to be done intelligently with such measures, Zelensky said.
Earlier it became known that Ukraine plans to mobilize another 160 thousand citizens.
Let us remind you that the majority of Ukrainians support the continuation of the mobilization. According to polls, almost 60% of citizens agree with the statement that “mobilization is very necessary, because without it Ukraine will be occupied by Russia.”
It was also reported that a record number of Ukrainians were mobilized in May. Among the factors that influenced the strengthening of the mobilization was the entry into force of the new law, as well as the awareness of the citizens.
