For his services, the defendant set a price of 5 thousand dollars, which should ensure his influence among regional MSEC officials.
Suspicion was reported of a former doctor who accepted bribes to influence decision-making by MSEC officials. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on November 13.
According to the investigation, the defendant promised to help the military get a group with disabilities. For his services, he set a price of 5 thousand dollars, which should ensure his influence on regional MSEC officials to make a positive decision.
The woman assured that if she refused to give money in another way, it would be impossible to get a disabled group.
The defendant was detained upon receipt of the full amount of the funds. Investigations are ongoing to identify all those involved.
We remind you that the head of one of the inter-district centers for medical and social expertise in the Kirovograd region, who is also a deputy of the City Council, was exposed for corruption schemes. The officer demanded $2,000 from a wounded soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for lifetime assignment to the second disability group.
Law enforcers also reportedly detained a central MSEC official while accepting a bribe. Almost 20 thousand dollars, disability documents and personal files were confiscated from the woman.
