Current US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris appeared together at an event on Monday, November 11, to mark National Veterans Day. It was their first general exit since the Democrats lost the election. The White House press broadcast service on social networks.
The event took place at Arlington Cemetery. Joe Biden called on Americans to unite and remain confident in each other.
“This is a moment to come together as a nation, to keep faith in each other,” he said.
The current US president saluted the veterans who fought to defend American values and emphasized that it is now up to every American to protect everything veterans stand for.
Biden and Harris also participated in the laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
