Baerbock called for strengthening Ukrainian air defenses amid increased Russian drone attacks.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said Russian dictator Vladimir Putin could take advantage of the transition period in the United States. Therefore, European countries need to step up aid to Ukraine now. Le Monde reported it.
“We don’t have time to wait until spring. The transition period has come, and Putin is just waiting for it – when the elections in the United States will end,” the head of the German Foreign Ministry.
According to him, everything Europe can offer to support Ukraine “must be mobilized now.” In particular, we are talking about strengthening the Ukrainian air defense against the backdrop of a significant increase in Russian drone attacks.
Burbock added that “the war has reached a new level, now it is an all-out air war.”
Let’s recall that according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Russian Federation hopes to reset relations with the United States on its own terms. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has admitted that newly elected US President Donald Trump will listen to the Kremlin’s interests and wishes without offering any concessions or benefits. Putin has indicated that Moscow will consider resetting relations between the states if sanctions against Russia are lifted and support for Ukraine is halted.
