An explosion occurred in Kherson during demining of a private household.
As a result of the explosion, police captain Alexander Veter was mortally wounded. The tragedy occurred in the Engineering Kherson city community. The National Police of Ukraine announced this on November 4 in Telegram.
It is noted that a group of explosives service workers went to their next task. Law enforcement officers checked information from Kherson residents about ammunition left behind after a Russian drone attack.
Police said the bomb technician who died was 41 years old. He served in the police for ten years. He worked in the Kherson special police patrol battalion and in the explosives department.
Let us remind you that on November 3, in the village of Dneprovskoye, Kherson region, a 50-year-old man came across an anti-personnel mine. As a result of the detonation, he received a blast injury, concussion and traumatic amputation of his leg.
