“Ukrainian Pravda” found not only the former head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov, but also his son Artur Ivanovich Bakanov.
As it turned out, the answer to the question “And de Bakanov?”, which has been troubling Ukrainian society for the last two years, is not the most interesting. In the SBU, Bakanov’s son is employed under his mother’s surname and inherited his father’s lieutenant’s shoulder straps.
Artur Lazarenko works only a few hours a day, the rest of the time he spends in the gym or at lunches in establishments, an investigation by Ukrayinska Pravda shows.
When asked about his duties and appointment, Lazarenko refused to answer Mikhail Tkach, calling it “personal life.”
From his girlfriend’s social networks it is known that last year she visited the Canaries and Mallorca, but there is no information about her companion. Requests for Lazarenko to leave the country have gone unanswered because law enforcement sources fear persecution.
If it seems to you that the fact that Vladimir Zelensky, after winning the presidential election, appointed his childhood friend and lawyer of the Kvartal-95 studio Ivan Bakanov as head of the Security Service of Ukraine is not enough for the maximum degree of “nepotism” and nepotism, then this material is just for you . After all, Bakanov, it seems, did not remain in debt, and immediately after the start of the full-scale invasion, he also employed his 25-year-old son Arthur with the SBU, they write in the UP.
Investigators believe that taking advantage of his high position and many years of friendship with the president, Ivan Bakanov created a personal Security Service for his son. For the third year now, Artur Bakanov has not only been protected from mobilization, but also enjoys the privileges of an operational officer – cover license plates on cars.
When the material was being prepared for publication, Tkach was written by Ivan Bakanov himself. He said that his son has his own life, he has long been preparing himself for a military career, and “it is illegal to expose representatives of the special services.”
