North Korean military personnel have been deployed for combat operations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said at a briefing. According to him, the South Korean delegation informed NATO, as well as Japan, Australia and New Zealand that its intelligence services are aware of the presence of the DPRK military in Russia and their involvement in the war in Ukraine. Rutte emphasized that North Korea’s military involvement in the Kursk region is a sign of Putin’s growing desperation, as he cannot sustain an offensive in Ukraine without support from other countries. Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia regarding the completion of the war may take place in India. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview with the Times of India. According to him, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi can influence the end of the war in Ukraine.
