Deputy from United Russia detained in the Vladimir region on suspicion of using slaves and stealing a million rubles from the Russian occupier. This was reported by the Russian publication Zebra.
The media said they were talking about local deputy Nikolai Malyshev. The Russian, along with his accomplices, illegally held three men for two and a half years, using their slave labor, on the territory of a car wash owned by a deputy.
The slaves were forced to work for free at the car wash at all hours of the day and were subjected to violence.
From July to October 2024, the attackers also fraudulently stole more than one million rubles from the bank account of a Russian citizen who fought in Ukraine.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under articles on fraud (159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the use of slave labor (127.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
We remind you that the Investigative Committee of Russia announced the arrest of the former head of the Property Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Demchik. He is suspected of accepting bribes on a large scale.
Additionally, in Russia, former Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Popov was detained on fraud charges. The case is related to theft.
