He gave an unscheduled speech in which he commented on evidence of admiration for Hitler that Trump allegedly expressed.
Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has called her Republican rival Donald Trump a “fascist” who seeks “unbridled power” and a military loyal to her personally. He said this amid accusations of repeatedly expressing Trump’s lust for Hitler, The Guardian reports.
It was learned that on Wednesday, October 23, Harris gave an unscheduled speech at his residence in Washington. The reason is the statements of John Kelly, the former chief of staff of Trump, that the politician complained that he does not have generals who swear loyalty to him in the same way as the military leaders who served Hitler in Nazi Germany .
“Donald Trump is becoming increasingly unbalanced and unstable. In his second term, people like John Kelly will no longer be there to act as a guard against his passions and actions. Those who once tried to stop his worst impulses are no longer there.” it’s close, and they can’t stop him any longer,” said Harris.
According to him, Trump’s disclosed position indicates that the politician “does not want to have an army loyal to the US Constitution.”
“He wants a military that is personal to him, that will follow his orders even if he tells them to break the law or reject their oath of allegiance to the US Constitution,” Harris said.
Posing the question as a stark choice for American voters heading to the November 5 presidential election, she added: “We know what Donald Trump wants. He wants unchecked power. The question in 13 days is what what Americans want.”
Citing various reports about his opponent’s position, Harris said in his speech: “It is very disturbing and very dangerous that Donald Trump refers to Adolf Hitler, the man responsible for the death of six million Jews and hundred -hundreds of thousands of Americans. This is a window into who Donald Trump really is, from the people who know him best.”
“In the words of John Kelly, it is clear that Donald Trump is a man who, and I quote, certainly falls under the general definition of a fascist. Who essentially swore to be a dictator on day one and swore to use the military as his personal militia to carry out his personal and political vendettas,” Harris said.
For the second time in a week, the Democratic candidate actually called the Republican candidate a fascist. Last week, he responded to a Detroit radio host who asked if Trump’s views were fascism, but did not say the word directly.
Harris made the appeal after Trump called his political opponents the “enemy within” and called for military deployment against those causing “disorder” in the election.
Let’s remember that the other day Harris said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin would “sit in Kyiv” if Trump won the election.
