In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russians are returning to the Soviet practice of involving children in harvesting and cultivating the land.
This was reported on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
It is noted that:
- such lessons of free labor were “conducted” for students of the 4th Melitopol school;
- Regular classes on “agricultural labor” are held for high school students. In this way, the occupiers are allegedly preparing future personnel for the agro-industrial complex. However, in practice, this use of free child labor is considered a form of exploitation and is considered illegal;
- In addition, the Russians are actively recruiting Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories to manufacture drones for the needs of the enemy army. For this purpose, the Kremlin supplies local schools with textbooks from “unmanned aerial systems.”
Under the temporary occupation of Ukraine, child labor has become a criminal reality. It is important that the international community and human rights organizations actively respond to these violations, demanding responsibility from the Kremlin, the CNS notes and calls for reporting information about the enemy to the appropriate anonymous chatbot.
