In the north of Moldova, four kilometers from the border with Ukraine, rocket fragments were found.
This was reported today, October 16, by the Moldovan publication NewsMaker with reference to the border police.
On the morning of October 16, residents of the Ocnita region discovered several metal objects, most likely from a shell. The Border Police clarified that the wreckage was found near the village of Lenkeutsi, 4 km from the border with Ukraine, the publication notes.
Moldovan law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the incident.
During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, fragments of missiles and drones have already been found on the territory of Moldova several times.
