A meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, which last met in August, will take place in Brussels on Thursday.
A meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, which is the main body for cooperation between Kyiv and the Alliance, is scheduled for Thursday, October 17. This was reported by European Pravda in connection with the program of the NATO ministerial meeting .
It was noted that the Council will meet as part of a meeting of Alliance member states at the level of defense ministers.
According to the program, the Ukraine-NATO Council will take place in the format of a “working dinner” on the evening of October 17.
At the same time, it is not known at what level it will be met and who will represent Ukraine at the meeting.
The last meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council was at the end of August 2024.
Earlier, media reported that NATO defense ministers will meet this week to rethink the alliance’s policy toward Russia in response to the Kremlin’s threat.
The Ukraine-NATO Council emerged by decision of the North Atlantic Alliance summit in Vilnius in July 2023 as a new body for cooperation between Kyiv and NATO. The Ministry of Defense stated that the format of the Ukraine-NATO Council will help increase the effectiveness of our country’s cooperation with the Alliance.
