The Rada excluded fugitive deputies Odarchenko and Dmitruk from the anti-corruption and law enforcement committees, respectively.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution to exclude people’s representatives Andrei Odarchenko and Artem Dmitruk from parliamentary committees. This was announced by MP from the Golos parliamentary faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Thursday, October 10.
The People’s Deputy clarified that the legislative initiative No. 12099 was supported by 245 votes of people’s representatives.
Thus, Odarchenko was expelled from the Anti-Corruption Committee. Whereas Dmitruk is from the Law Enforcement Committee.
“The Rada supported the exclusion of two fugitive deputies from the Committees… Now they are free fugitives and are not burdened with unnecessary committee work,” Zheleznyak wrote.
We remind you that deputy Artem Dmitruk, who was placed on the wanted list of law enforcement officials of Ukraine, participated online in a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement Issues on Monday, October 7.
At the end of June this year, the High Anti-Corruption Court began considering the merits of the Odarchenko case. And the day before, anti-corruption officials reported that the people’s representative had fled abroad. He was placed on the international wanted list.
