Isaac Herzog called this moment a “golden opportunity” for countries looking for a bright future for the Middle East.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Sunday night, October 6, appealed to the people of Lebanon and Iran to rise up and fight the anti-Israeli coalition led by Tehran, reports The Times of Israel.
“If we join forces and act decisively, we will have a chance for a better future. We can create a regional structure similar to NATO that will prevent the spread of radicalism,” Herzog told Saudi television channel Al Arabiya.
At the same time, Herzog did not say how Israel might respond to Iran’s missile attack last week. He only noted that “we will consider all options in this regard.”
Speaking on the eve of the anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attacks, Herzog said the war against Israel is being waged by an evil empire led by Iran, and that by fighting, the state of Israel is giving hope for the people of the Middle East.
“This war was waged against us by Iran and its allies. 101 hostages are still being held underground in Gaza, suffering great suffering. We are fighting in the north and in the south – in Gaza and Lebanon. We are working hard to change the course of events and give hope to the people of the region,” he emphasized.
Duke called this moment a “golden opportunity” for countries looking for a better future for the Middle East to come up with new ideas and plans to resolve the conflict.
He also emphasized that Israel abides by international law and expressed concern for its neighbors.
As reported, last night Israel carried out a massive attack on Beirut. This is the largest Israeli attack on the Lebanese capital.
We remind you that the United States of America will send additional troops to the Middle East amid the escalation of Israel and the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
