British intelligence has named the immediate targets of the Russian occupiers in the Donbass.
After the capture of the city of Ugledar in the Donetsk region, the Russian army is likely to continue its offensive and the village of Bogoyavlenka and the large village of Velikaya Novoselka may be under threat. The British Ministry of Defense announced this on October 5 on the social network X.
Russian troops are likely to try to continue their offensive in the coming weeks. In the west, one of the likely targets is Bolshaya Novoselka towards Zaporozhye along the T0509 highway. Epiphany is located 8 km north, the department noted.
The British recalled that on October 1, Russian units took control of Ugledar at the intersection of two key fronts – Zaporozhye and Donetsk. The occupation of the city occurred shortly after the infidels resumed their offensive campaign in September. By the end of the month, enemy troops had almost surrounded Ugledar and forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces to retreat.
Let us remind you that Ugledar held the defense against Russian invaders for more than two years. However, last week, members of the 72nd Brigade began to withdraw from the city as supply lines were cut off. On October 2, the OSUV “Khortitsa” confirmed the withdrawal of units from Vugledar in order to preserve personnel and military equipment.
