Judges Dzyubin, Sliva, Palenik and Glinyany are suspected in the case of lifting the seizure of aircraft. According to the investigation, the judges were given 35 thousand dollars. bribes.
Dubin allegedly played the role of an intermediary and kept $10,000 for his services. They were found at the judge’s place of residence. The defense believes that the money could have been planted.
The other part is 25 thousand dollars. allegedly should have been divided among three judges from the panel. Dubin allegedly put them in a whiskey box and gave them to Judge Palenik. Later, during a search of Palenik’s apartment, detectives found $24,800.
The investigation believes that he kept this money for himself and took 16 thousand 600 dollars. other bills to give to two colleagues – Glinyanoy and Sliv.
According to investigators, Palenik handed over the money to Judge Glinyany in an advertising brochure for an Internet provider. But Judge Sliva Palenik allegedly handed over the money in a coffee bag with the words: “Very good instant coffee, you once gave it to me, so now I’m giving it to you.”
In December 2023, the High Council of Justice allowed the detention of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal Igor Palenik, Yuriy Sliva and Viktor Glinyany. 15 out of 15 present members of the VRP voted in favor.
During the meeting, the SAPO prosecutor Boris Vasilenkov said that Dzyubin received 35 thousand dollars. illegal benefits, of which he kept 10 thousand for himself. He handed over the remaining 25 thousand to judge Igor Palenik in a whiskey box. At the same time, Palenik exchanged 16.6 thousand dollars. for other banknotes and handed them over to colleagues Yuriy Sliva and Viktor Glinyanoy (8.3 thousand each). Sliva’s funds were handed over and veiled as a pack of coffee: “Here I am (Plum) handing you a pack of coffee, very good instant coffee, you once gave it to me and I’m giving it to you.” The transfer of funds to Glinyany was also veiled as if it were an advertising brochure: “A very good Internet provider, you (Glinyany) should use it and read the brochure.”
Dzyubin himself was hospitalized. The defense objected to the presentation and believed that the funds were planted,” journalist Oleg Novikov also wrote about the GRP meeting.
