Iran is trying to decide its next move after Israel announced the destruction of Hassan Nasrallah, the sources said.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been evacuated to safety after Israel announced the killing of Lebanese Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. This was reported by Reuters on Saturday, September 28.
Two Iranian officials told the agency that Iran’s supreme leader had been moved to a safe location inside the country with heightened security measures.
Iran is in constant contact with Hezbollah and other regional groups to determine the next step after Israel announced the destruction of Hassan Nasrallah, the sources said.
Meanwhile, Khamenei called on Muslims to “support the people of Lebanon and the proud Hezbollah with all the means they have, and help them face … the godless regime (Israel – ed.).”
We remind you that yesterday a video of powerful attacks in Beirut was released. Some Israeli media reported that Nasrallah was killed as a result of the strike. Meanwhile, other sources close to Hezbollah said its leader is alive.
But now the Israel Defense Forces officially announced that Hassan Nasrallah has been removed.
