The supply of weapons to Ukraine in 2025 is under threat.

    .

The dynamics show that the economy of the aggressor country, Russia, is in a state of war, while Ukraine’s allies are not. Therefore, some partner countries are experiencing difficulties in obtaining funding, while others refuse to increase funding to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.

It is noted that a significant part of military support for Ukraine in 2025 is related to the G7 agreement to provide loans in the amount of $50 billion. from the profits received from the frozen assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Western partners are still discussing the final details of this agreement. And the United States wants to withhold confirmation that Hungary will not block EU measures. If a compromise is not found, the final amount of assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be lower.

Bloomberg reports that even if a deal is reached, the amount will be $50 billion. will not be enough for Ukraine to fight for another year. Therefore, the allies will have to go beyond these funding limits.

Let us remind you that President Vladimir Zelensky said that the United States has allocated new military assistance for Ukraine in the amount of $7.9 billion.

And on September 26, the Pentagon announced that the United States would transfer weapons worth $2.4 billion to Ukraine. This military aid package will provide Ukraine with additional air defense, drones and air-to-ground munitions, and will strengthen Ukraine’s defense industrial base.
