All peace proposals based on the freezing of the war are futile, believes the Ukrainian leader.
Only the unity of world leaders can force Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to end his war against Ukraine. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this at a meeting with the head of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, the press service of the head of state reports on Wednesday, September 25.
“We are very interested in developing relations between our countries. I want to thank you for your support during our Peace Summit in Switzerland. Thank you to your representatives, and we want to count on continued support,” said by Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that only the unity of world leaders can force Putin to end the war, and he called all peace proposals based on a freeze here non-committal.
Zelensky spoke about the implementation of the decisions of the first Peace Summit, especially about the work based on the individual points of the Peace Formula, and preparation for the second Summit, and also invited Ramaphosa to take part in it. Separately, the parties discussed how to expand the representation of states in the Global South.
Let’s remember that Zelensky previously said that the next few months will be decisive in Russia’s war against Ukraine. At the same time, the Ukrainian president appealed to his allies with a request to strengthen support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
