The average salary in the public sector exceeds 55 thousand Hryvnia

The leader in the salary level is the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of energy and utilities, where on average workers receive 111.9 thousand Hryvnias.

The Ministry of Finance reported that in August the average salary of government employees increased to 55.8 thousand Hryvnia, the leaders were NEURC and AMCU. The press service of the Ministry of Finance reported this on Wednesday, September 25.

From January 1, the government introduced new conditions for the wages of civil servants based on job classification, thereby increasing transparency, predictability and fairness in the payment of wages to government employees.

The new reform changed the principles and conditions of salaries and defined the level of official salaries depending on the classification of positions.

“After all, the effectiveness of the work of state authorities is an important part of public administration under martial law,” the department said.

Thus, compared to January, the salaries of officials increased by 44.6%.

While in the second quarter, the salary of full-time employees (before taxes) was 21 thousand Hryvnia.

The leader in the salary level is the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of energy and utilities, where on average workers receive 111.9 thousand Hryvnias. The commission employs 531 people. The salary of its management is 223.6 thousand Hryvnia.

Also high salary in the Antimonopoly Committee – 97.0 thousand Hryvnia. 262 people work here. The management salary is 191.2 thousand hryvnia.

In the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the average salary is 71.5 thousand Hryvnia. The actual number of employees is 682 people. Management receives 121.8 thousand hryvnias.

It was previously reported that wages in Ukraine continue to grow. Wages exceeded pre-war dollars.
