The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fired on a target in Beirut, the Israeli military said.
The Israel Defense Forces said they used targeted killings in the Lebanese capital Beirut. The Times of Israel writes about this on Tuesday, September 24.
“The IDF carried out a planned attack on Beirut,” the Israeli army said in a statement.
Lebanese media wrote that the attack did not hit the capital, but its southern suburb of Dahiya, which is considered a stronghold of the Hezbollah group.

Let’s recall that on the morning of September 23, Israel increased its strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces attacked several hundred of the group’s targets.
The IDF is also targeting local homes where the army says the group’s weapons may be stored. Before the attack, Israel sent messages to the Lebanese calling on them to leave their homes.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 558 people died as a result of the Israeli attacks, and about 1.8 thousand were injured.
