The SBU and the National Police detained three more arsonists who, on orders from the Russian Federation, acted in Ternopil and Cherkassy. The SBU press service reported this on Monday, September 23.
The defendants’ priority “targets” were vehicles undergoing maintenance after conducting combat missions on the front line.
So, in Cherkasy, an 18-year-old local college student was detained, who, on orders from the Russian Federation, set fire to a military SUV with an incendiary mixture. The young man recorded the fire on his phone camera and sent a video report to the Russian curator.
Two more arsonists acting as part of a criminal group were detained in Ternopil.
The defendants are local residents. Both men were looking for quick money on Telegram channels, where they were contacted by a representative of the Russian special services.

They are all in custody. They face up to eight years in prison.
We remind you that in Kyiv, five more henchmen of the Russian special services were detained who carried out arson in the capital. Their main “targets” are SUVs and minibuses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, four arsonists of military vehicles were detained in Kyiv and Khmelnitsky. The SBU also detained three henchmen of the Russian Federation who set fire to official vehicles of the Defense Forces in the Donetsk region.
