Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, but refusing to receive a Russian passport, will be included in the register of foreigners by the Russian invaders.
The press service of the Luhansk Regional Military District reported this today, September 23.
From January 1, 2025, being included in this list will lead to restrictions in receiving almost all payments, social and administrative services. For example, conducting banking transactions, registering property rights, registering children in educational institutions. The invaders are confident that such strict limits will increase the pace of forced passportization, the OVA notes.
In addition, the occupation administration of Severodonetsk is looking for ways to legalize the scheme of the so-called “nationalization” of the real estate of city residents who, within 30 days from the moment of the announcement of the “seizure” of an apartment or house, did not provide documents confirming their ownership.
In other words, they did not return to Severodonetsk, – the OVA notes. – The invaders offer to receive the keys to the replaced locks on the doors to any person who has a power of attorney drawn up according to the Russian model, that is, on the territory of Russia. The originality of the document is unlikely to be checked.
