Hezbollah launched repeated rocket attacks on Israel on the morning of September 22. Fires and injuries were reported in the suburbs of Haifa.
The Times of Israel reports that about 30 launches were recorded in the latest salvo in the Krayot region. Since the night of September 21-22, more than 100 rockets have been fired into the Krayot and Amakim region.
The footage circulating online shows smoke over residential areas, and several cars are also on fire (preliminary from falling debris from downed Lebanese air targets). In particular, the impact on cars and a house was recorded in the Kiryat Bialik area.
According to Israeli media, three civilians sought medical help as a result of the repeated shelling. They were slightly injured.
In turn, Hezbollah militants claim that they carried out a second strike on the Israeli Air Force Ramat David airbase, but there is no evidence yet that the facility was hit.
Due to the risk of attacks, the Israeli army announced the closure of beaches, mass events and classes in schools in the north of the country.
The Israeli Air Force has completed a series of strikes on Lebanon, attacking about 290 Lebanese Hezbollah targets in a day, the IDF said in a statement.

The Pentagon has declared a state of alert for all its bases in the Middle East due to rising tensions between Israel and Hezbollah.
The armed forces of Jordan and Saudi Arabia are also on alert to repel possible attacks on Israel if necessary.
Hezbollah, in response to the Israeli attack, launched a massive missile strike on Israel’s largest air base, Ramat David. The media reported that the attack caused a fire in the area of the Israeli military facility.

Citizens of Jordan received a similar recommendation from their Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Foreign Ministry has asked Jordanians in Lebanon to leave the country as quickly as possible and not to enter Lebanon.
The Telegraph reports that the US and UK are secretly asking Israel to exercise restraint and not close the window for diplomatic dialogue with Hezbollah.
For its part, The Washington Post called Israel’s pager attack a prelude to a larger-scale operation in Lebanon, considering its goal to create chaos in the ranks of Hezbollah.
