President Vladimir Zelensky called a “very benefiting -benefit” meeting at the Coalition in Brussels, where representatives of Ukraine and European coordinated positions on the eve of Washington to visit US President Donald Trump. The head of the state on Telegram reported this Sunday, August 17.
“We continue the coordination of our usual positions. Clear support for Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty. All states are that the boundaries of the states should not change by strength. Everyone supports the major issues that should be resolved with Ukraine’s participation in a tripartite format: Ukraine, USA, Russian leader,” Zelensky said.
The president appointed the “historic” decision of the United States to participate in the provision of security guarantees for Ukraine.
“The safety guarantees based on the results of our joint work should be really practical and defend the world, the sky and the sea, and should also be developed with European participation. Of course, we have said how to stop killing as soon as possible. We make up an overall perspective on what to be a peaceful agreement – really honest, fast and like it will work,”
Remember, on August 18, Zelensky will meet with Trump. The American leader invited the President of Ukraine to the White House after meeting Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
According to media reports, Trump first held a personal meeting with Zelensky, and then the leaders of Europe and NATO secretary and secretary general will join them.
