After another Russian airstrike on the city, residents were warned about power outages. Water supply problems have also worsened.

In Sumy, due to Russian attacks on infrastructure facilities, all water supply facilities were cut off. The Sumy Regional Administration warned residents about power outages.

“The enemy continues to terrorize the civilian population of the Sumy region, attacking critical infrastructure facilities in the region. Today, September 18, the Russians again launched an air strike in the center of the region,” the message said.

In this regard, power outages are possible.

The emergency rescue services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack, OVA said.

Meanwhile, the Gorvodokanal control center reported that due to another strike at 22:03, all water utility facilities were de-energized. Transition to emergency backup power is currently underway. The city water utility promised that within a few hours water would be available to the city, albeit with reduced pressure.

We remind you that last night the Russian military attacked energy facilities in Sumy with suicide bombers.

It was also reported the day before that after the nighttime drone attack in the Sumy region, electrical engineers fully resumed the electricity supply in Konotop, and in the Sumy region they continued 80%.
