The spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain 3rd Rank Dmitry Pletenchuk, suggests that the Crimean Bridge will be further destroyed due to the great need for Russian troops to increase the logistics load on this particular overpass. The official spoke about it to Espresso on Sunday, September 15.
“Right now, the Russians don’t have much choice about logistics in occupied Crimea. The ferries won’t work when they start operating don’t have much choice,” the spokesman explained.
He also added that there is no proven information that the Russians have launched a railway through the temporarily occupied territories to Crimea. That is why the logistics load on the Crimean Bridge will increase. It is a process that cannot be avoided.
Pletenchuk recalled that the Crimean Bridge needs repair, so due to the increased logistics load, it will begin to collapse even more.
