Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a joint meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy, who arrived in Kyiv today, September 11.

It is noted that during the meeting:
- Zelensky informed about the situation on the front lines, the priority needs of the Defense Forces and separately noted the importance for Ukraine of quickly obtaining permission to use long-range weapons provided by the United States and other partners;
- discussed prospects for cooperation in the defense industry within the framework of the signed bilateral security agreements. According to Zelensky, the focus should be on joint production in Ukraine;
- Zelensky and Lemmy discussed the implementation of the security agreement and agreed on further steps to conclude a new bilateral agreement on the transition to a stronger and deeper partnership;
- special attention was paid to preparations for the Second Peace Summit;
- discussed future contacts between leaders of states within the framework of the UN General Assembly session in New York this month, and also coordinated approaches to holding joint events on the sidelines of the General Assembly session.
Zelensky also expressed gratitude to the United States and Britain for their support, new military aid packages, as well as sanctions imposed against Iran, the Russian shadow fleet and the Aerospace Forces.
