Trump took offense at Putin over his statement about supporting Harris in the US presidential election.

Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is “supporting” Democratic candidate Kamala Harris because “no one has been tougher than Trump in history on Russia.” Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said this at a rally in Wisconsin, European Pravda reports.

According to the politician, he was offended by Putin’s “support” for Harris.

“I know Putin, I know him, and, you know, he supported Kamala. I wonder why he’s a chess player. Putin knows this,” Trump said.

The Republican reiterated that he wants to end Russia’s war against Ukraine before he “gets to the White House as President of the United States.”

“I will do it,” Trump assured.

Let’s recall that on September 5, Putin said that his favorite in the American elections used to be US President Joe Biden, but now he has “another favorite.”

“He was removed from the race, but he recommended supporting Ms. Harris. And we will do it, we will support her,” the Russian dictator said.

Earlier, at an economic forum in Vladivostok, Putin said that Trump, during his presidency, imposed too many sanctions against the Russian Federation, so he was rooting for Harris.
