In Dnepropetrovsk region, firefighters came under repeated Russian shelling.
The State Emergency Service press service reported this today, September 5.
In the morning, the Russians attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. A fire broke out at a critical infrastructure facility. While emergency workers were working on the scene, the enemy insidiously struck again, the report says.
It is noted that as a result of the shelling:
- a fire and rescue vehicle was destroyed;
- A rescuer was injured. The remaining Rescue Service employees managed to take shelter.
The fire was extinguished. 18 rescuers and 4 units of equipment worked at the scene, the department added.
Let us recall that this year the Russians have begun to use the terrorist tactic of follow-up strikes more often. They are repeatedly striking at the sites of shelling when rescue operations begin there.
