Until the end of the day, regional power companies in all regions will apply a phased shutdown.
As of Thursday morning, due to fighting and other reasons, 542 communities in nine regions were completely or partially without power. Ukrenergo reported this on September 5.
“Due to the conflict, there were new blackouts in Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Sumy, Kherson regions. Due to the consequences of bad weather, 23 settlements in Odessa and Nikolaev regions were without electricity in the morning. For those technical reasons, there are no consumers of electricity in Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Chernihiv regions,” the report said.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption remains at a high level. Today, as a result of implementing fewer shutdowns, consumption at 8:30 am is 5.6% higher than yesterday, September 4th.
Until the end of the day, regional power companies in all regions will apply a phased shutdown. When electricity appears on schedule, please consume it sparingly, power engineers ask.
Last night and this morning, Ukraine received emergency assistance from the Polish power grid. During the day, electricity will be imported from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 14,040 MWh, with peak power of up to 940 MW in individual hours.
Export is not in progress and is not expected.
The previous day, Ukrenergo reported an increase in power outages due to power outages at several energy facilities.
According to media reports, two power units at the nuclear power plant are not operating at full capacity. Because of this, the generation deficit increased by 625 MW.
In turn, Energoatom reported the situation at the South Ukrainian NPP, where the power unit was partially unloaded.
