A woman died while burning dead wood in the Kyiv region.
The State Emergency Service press service reported this today, September 5.
Rescuers received a message about a fire in the village of Sukachi, Vyshgorod district. The grass flooring on the territory of a private home was burning. The area of the fire was about 0.9 hectares, – the message says. – Having started extinguishing the fire, the specialists of the Rescue Service found the body of a woman.
It is noted that the deceased was an 82-year-old owner who decided to clean up the yard.
“Dear citizens, do not smoke dead wood! Do not risk your life for the sake of household trifles!” the department notes. – Remember: for the spontaneous burning of vegetation or its remains, a fine of 3 thousand to 6 thousand UAH is provided.
