Ukraine evacuated another group of Ukrainians from Lebanon.
25 citizens – 11 children and 14 women – were evacuated from the dangerous region. They have already arrived in Poland, from where they are heading to Ukraine. SkyUp Airlines assisted in the evacuation. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence reported this on Telegram on September 4.
The evacuation of citizens was a joint operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended that Ukrainians refrain from any trips to Lebanon, and those currently in the country leave it.
Recall that in early August, due to the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on citizens to refrain from any trips to Israel and Lebanon until the situation stabilizes. That same month, Ukraine evacuated 30 of its citizens from Lebanon.
