The Verkhovna Rada recommended to define the draft law as urgent, reduce the deadline for the introduction of alternatives in half and adopt it in the first reading as a whole.
The Committee on National Security and Defense recommends that the Verkhovna Rada immediately adopt a bill that will create a separate type of force within the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the Unmanned Systems Forces. This was said by the head of the committee, Alexander Zvitnevich.
“We recommend that the Verkhovna Rada identify the draft law as urgent, reduce the deadline for the introduction of alternatives by half and adopt it in the first reading as a whole,” he said.
The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, and the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vadim Sukharevsky, also joined the committee discussion.
We remind you that more than 170 samples of unmanned systems have been adopted into service with the Ukrainian army. They are already used in the front.
