Russian aggressors spread a fake story about the alleged destruction of a convoy of military equipment headed for Sudzha in the Sumy region. The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Sunday, September 1.
“The enemy is sharing information about its sources about the alleged destruction of a convoy of equipment heading to Sudzha however, the photo clearly shows that trucks are waiting to load soybeans and standing near the field,” the message said.
The department emphasized that this is another crime by Russian terrorists against civilians that violates the laws and customs of war.
It was previously reported that Russia had fired a missile at grain carriers in the Sumy region. One of the drivers was killed and four others were injured.
In turn, the Air Force reported that the Russians launched an Iskander-M missile from the Kursk region and 11 suicide bombers from the Crimea. The air defense downed eight drones. It was noted that the enemy hit the Ukrainian grain and logistics of the agricultural sector in the Nikolaev and Sumy regions.
