In Kyiv, men who planned to set fire to electrical substations and military vehicles were detained. The Kiev Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on August 30.
It is known that two men are suspected of preparing to obstruct the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. One of them was also charged with preparing to commit sabotage.
According to investigators, the suspects were preparing to set fire to energy system facilities in the capital region. Previously, they videotaped the object with geolocation and determined how it was damaged. In addition, one of the suspects is looking for people to set fire to the vehicles of employees of territorial recruitment and social support centers.

The events are carried out in cooperation with SBU officials in the regions of Kiev, Kyiv and Poltava. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
