The European Union has prepared 700,000 artillery shells for Ukraine out of the promised million.
The European military industry is gaining momentum, and ammunition production continues. Brussels is also “considering the possibility of targeting Russian territory.” This was stated by the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell before a meeting with EU foreign ministers.
He also noted that the EU does not want to enter into a war with Russia, but only to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. He added that sending military instructors to Ukraine is not on the agenda. The creation of a coordination center in Ukraine is currently being discussed.
Borrell added that the number of Ukrainian military personnel studying in the European Union will be increased to 60 thousand military personnel.
Recall that on the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, the United States announced the 64th tranche of aid worth $125 million, which will be provided from the Pentagon’s reserves. The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transfer ammunition for HIMARS, 155-mm and 105-mm artillery ammunition, TOW missiles, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, and small arms ammunition.
