Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, signed a decree on the establishment of two city military administrations in the Zaporizhia region.
The text of the relevant decree No. 597/2024 of August 27, 2024 was published on the presidential website.
According to it, the following are formed:
- Vasilievskaya city military administration of Vasilievskiy district of Zaporizhzhya region;
- City military administration of Polohovsky district of Zaporizhia region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration are to implement, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Legal Regime of Martial Law,” measures related to the formation of military administrations, the document states.
This decree comes into force on the day of publication.
