Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal responded to the actions of the TCC when their employees removed scheduled buses from their driving routes.
The head of government commented on the situation when drivers were taken away by the military at bus stations. He considers such activities of representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Centers unacceptable. The Prime Minister will ask the Ministry of Defense to work with the TRCs on such situations. Shmyhal said this on August 23 during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
When TCC removes drivers from buses, well, it is also an unacceptable situation when a regular bus is just driving and the driver is taken away. I will ask the Ministry of Defense to work with TCC so that such things do not happen again, he noted.
As is known, in the spring the Association of International Road Carriers stated that Ukrainian carriers complain that when returning to Ukraine from abroad, TCC employees remove drivers directly from their routes and forcibly take them to assembly centers.
Let us recall that on July 30 it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine simplified the process of obtaining a “reservation” for workers in the transportation sector. However, the introduced changes do not apply to those carriers working on the terms of individual entrepreneurs.
