The British rolling plant Spartan UK, owned by the Ukrainian holding the metіnvest, will provide steel sheets for the construction of a plant of nuclear power in the UK. This was reported by the Press Service of Metіnsvest on Tuesday, August 12.
In particular, a contract ended for the supply of 1600 tons of steel sheets for the construction of the sizewell C NPP on the coast of the suffolk county. 800 tons will be delivered in August, the rest is in the third quarter of 2025.
“This is one of the biggest energy projects in the UK in recent decades. Sizewell C will provide clean energy for power in 6 million homes and will help create up to 10,000 construction peak work,” the report said.
Note that in May it was reported that the Royal Fleet of the Netherlands received a new battle support ship, during the construction where the metinvest group plants were used. A month before, a message appeared that in Italy two expeditional ships were built from the metinvest iron.
