Ukrainian military launched an attack on the Marinovka military airfield in Russia’s Volgograd region.
The attack was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the publication “Obshchestvennoye” with reference to an informed source.
It is noted that warehouses with guided aerial bombs and fuel were hit at the airfield – it is Marinovka in the Volgograd region that the Russians are actively using for bombing the front line in Ukraine.
Local Russians complain that after the attack by SBU and Ukrainian Special Operations Forces drones, their military airfield looks like a scene from an apocalypse movie, the source noted. — The so-called SVO is going so much according to plan that local residents listened all night and morning to warehouses with aviation KABs, ammunition, and fuel and lubricants exploding.
Earlier, Russia announced that “two drones were shot down that night,” one of which was allegedly intercepted several kilometers from the airfield, and “the debris of the second fell on a nearby trailer.”
