The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended the preventive measure for Metropolitan of the UOC MP Pavlo (Lebed) for another two months, until October 21.
He should be in his home in the village of Voronkov in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region, the Reshetki publication reports.
It is noted that during the hearing, Judge Svetlana Grechana once again postponed the consideration of the Metropolitan’s case until September 30, since he became ill during the court hearing.
An ambulance was called to the metropolitan, who had fallen on a bench in the meeting room. Paramedics provided assistance to him for more than half an hour, the publication notes.
Metropolitan Pavel is accused of justifying full-scale Russian aggression and inciting religious hatred by an official. He faces up to eight years in prison.
The case was transferred to court on October 20. Seven months later, the court held a preparatory hearing and was supposed to proceed to the hearing on the merits on June 12, but has since postponed the hearing date twice.
