We remind you that earlier the German government denied rumors that financial aid to Ukraine next year may be limited for domestic political reasons and due to federal budget problems, reports DW .
“Germany remains faithful and committed to the work started. The words spoken by the Chancellor remain valid that Ukraine will be supported as long as necessary so that no one, not even the president of Russia, can hope that we can weaken the efforts this,” – said Buchner.
He made the corresponding statement against the backdrop of reports that in 2025, German aid to Ukraine due to budget problems will not exceed the 4 billion euros already planned for it.
Earlier, it was reported that the current budget planning of the German federal government does not provide for the allocation of new funds to support Ukraine. The opposition is talking about a financial freeze and, subsequently, military support for Kyiv.
This was followed by the reaction of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry regarding the German aid.
