The combat platform “Lyut 2.0” is already in service with the 12th “Azov” Brigade.
This robotic drone was developed in Ukraine. It was armed with a machine gun and equipped with the fourth class of protection. The robot can operate autonomously for three days and has a range of up to 20 km. The National Guard reported this on Telegram on August 18.
“Yorost” can perform combat missions – support infantry with machine gun fire. In addition, the platform can conduct battlefield reconnaissance in dangerous areas.
The National Guard emphasized that the platform has received positive feedback from Azov drone operators and will significantly ease the lives of soldiers on the front lines.
Recall that on August 14, the Ministry of Defense reported that the first fire-fighting ground robot in Ukraine was approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This engineering robotic fire-fighting complex is a mobile tracked platform with special equipment for supplying water under pressure or special fire-extinguishing foam. The operator can direct the work to the epicenter of the fire from a safe place, and the flow of liquid is controlled remotely.
