“A national emergency of a regional nature was introduced in connection with the introduction of an emergency situation in municipal forests on the territory of Chedi-Kholsky and Tandinsky kozhuuns, persistent dry and hot weather, which contributes to a sharp increase in the number and area of forest fires in the territory of the republic,” the message said.
It was noted that in the Tandinsky region of the Russian Federation several large cells operated simultaneously. The head of the region, Vladislav Khovalig, went to the site to assess the situation.
