The Cabinet of Ministers has amended Resolution No. 560 “On approval of the procedure for conscription of citizens for military service during mobilization, for a special period.”
In particular, officials have simplified some rules on deferment from mobilization for certain categories of citizens. No fundamental changes have been made, but there are some positive aspects. Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenko reported this on Telegram.
According to him, the commission must now establish the fact of leaving within 10 days, while previously there was no clearly defined deadline. This will speed up the work of the commission.
The procedure for care of close relatives of the first kinship group (parents, wife, children) for military personnel has also been simplified – now they do not have to indicate the absence of other family members.
At the same time, for military personnel caring for relatives of the second group of kinship (wife’s parents), the absence of other family members should be indicated.
Applications to establish the fact of leaving should be submitted directly to the executive committees and district and city councils. The confirmation of leaving is now an act. That is, there is no need to demand witnesses and other vague evidence.
Regarding conscripts who have three dependent children, the adoption rule remains. But now it is enough to present a court decision. Previously, it was necessary to wait for a new corrected birth certificate.
However, in order to receive a deferment for the maintenance of three children in the event of a divorce of the parents, the child’s place of residence with the father must be established only by a court decision.
Let us recall that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has simplified the process of obtaining a “reservation” for workers in the transportation sector. In particular, the number of criteria that a transportation company must meet has been reduced from three to two. Reservations can be obtained by workers at bus stations and companies that perform irregular transportation.
