The former president praised the billionaire’s position regarding the dismissal of the striking workers.
The UAW filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board against former President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk for threatening the strikers. The UAW announced this on Tuesday, August 13.
The reason is an interview that Trump gave to Musk on the social network X. The statement states that on Monday night they had a “messy, disorganized conversation in front of more than a million listeners in which spoke them about the illegal firing of the strikers.”
“I’m looking at what you’re doing,” Trump told Musk “Go and say … Get out everybody. Musk laughed and replied, “Yes.”
In this regard, the UAW recalled that according to US federal law, workers cannot be fired for participating in a strike, and threats to fire them are illegal.
“Both Trump and Musk want the working class to sit down and shut up, and they openly make fun of it (the right to strike – ed.). It’s disgusting, illegal and completely predictable from these two clowns,” said UAW president. Sean Fein, calling Trump “scabbers.”
Let’s remember that during the conversation between Trump and Musk it was also said that Musk could be involved in working in the administration of Donald Trump if he won the US presidential election in November.
